Although I knew what I wanted to achieve with Scamp, I would not have been able to work out all the requirements without the electronic, software and robotic communities on the Internet. To all these people I extend a big thankyou. I hope some of the information in this web site will be helpful to others.
Just search, read and read again and you will eventually find out how to do it. Think about your problem and learn.
Below, and in no particular order, is a list of some of the resources I have used:
-
Let's Make Robots (LMR) —
letsmakerobots.com
- LMR contains a massive amount of information on people's robots and construction articles.
-
Arduino Home —
www.arduino.cc
- This is the place to find all reference details about the Arduino, whether it be hardware or software. There is also the Arduino "Playground", which is a publicly editable wiki about Arduino.
-
Raspberry Pi Foundation —
www.raspberrypi.org
- The home of the Raspberry Pi Foundation contains all the specifications and linux image downloads you need to work with the Raspberry Pi. Public wikis provide information about compatible devices that work with the Pi.
-
Fritzing —
fritzing.org
- Fritzing is open-source electronic / PCB generation software, that was created by the Interaction Design Lab at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, Germany.
